Teacher Appreciation Week

May 4th through May 8th

Because of the success of all our community has raised, HSA is graciously able to host a week of thanks for our special teachers who impact our children's lives each and everyday. We would like to extend the opportunity for your child to purchase flowers for their favorite teacher as well as jot down a special note for them. Flower sales, at just $1 per flower, will be held April 12-May 2 and can be purchased here. Stay tuned to your child's folder for a sheet you can use to write the special notes for your fave teachers. ***If your child/children are interested in sending more than 6 flowers, please attempt to make a copy of this flyer prior to filling out.***

Homeroom Leads:

Please make every effort to find lunch coverage for your class on May 5th from 11a-12:30 so all our teachers can enjoy their luncheon together! Please update the homeroom tracker document with the name of the volunteer by April 22nd so clearances can be checked prior to! Thank you again for your help to ensure our teachers get to eat all together and celebrate their week!

Holy Family Fest

Location: Degnan & Back Parking Lot

Get ready for the biggest celebration of the year! Join us for an afternoon packed with excitement, games, and community fun. We’re bringing all the favorites—Spin Art, Mini Golf, Duck Pond, Ball Toss, Throw‑a‑Strike, Wheel of Chance, Giant Jenga, Connect Four, tattoos, and a prize table full of surprises.

And the star attraction…

The Dunk Tank!

• Students will have the chance to dunk their favorite teachers—always a crowd favorite.
• We’d love your help to make this day truly special. Even a short volunteer shift makes a big difference.

Hungry? Grab hot dogs, chicken nuggets, popcorn, and refreshing drinks available for purchase throughout the event.

This is NOT a drop off event. This is a family friendly event!

Admission

• $12 per child at the door (Cash/Venmo)
• $10 per child with advance purchase - Available in May

Admission is per child and includes two rounds of select games. Adults enter free.

Additional game rounds: $6 each (day‑of; cash or Venmo) Dunk tank: $5 for 3 throws (day‑of; cash or Venmo)

Concessions sold separately. (Hot Dogs, Nuggets, Chips, PopCorn etc)

Blue Rocks Game

Saturday, June 6th

We are excited to share that our Mary Poppins Jr. cast and crew have been invited by the HSA to participate in a special performance at a Wilmington Blue Rocks game! Our students will take the field to sing God Bless America on Saturday, June 6th at 6:05 PM.

We would love to see our school community come together to support our talented performers. Please consider bringing your family and friends to cheer them on and celebrate this exciting opportunity. Let’s fill the stands and show our school spirit as our students shine on the field!
