Christine McCarthyChristine McCarthy retired from Wawa after a distinguished 32-year career as a Public Relations and Communications Manager, where she specialized in strategic communications, community relations, and brand engagement. Throughout her career, she developed a passion for building relationships and sharing meaningful stories—skills she now uses to serve parish communities.
Christine and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of three children, all of whom received a Catholic education from elementary school through high school, beginning at the former St. Joseph Catholic School. Their family's experience instilled a deep appreciation for the lasting impact of faith-based education and the important role Catholic schools play in forming young people.
An active parish volunteer, Christine serves in a variety of ministries at the Church of St. Joseph and leads communications for Nativity BVM Parish in Media. She also assists other parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia with communications, helping to share the Good News and strengthen parish engagement.
Christine is honored to serve on the Holy Family Regional Catholic School Board of Limited Jurisdiction. Guided by her Catholic faith, she is committed to supporting the mission of Catholic education and helping ensure that future generations of students are formed as compassionate disciples, confident leaders, and faithful witnesses to Christ. She believes that a strong Catholic education not only prepares children for academic success but also equips them to lead lives of integrity, service, and faith.
